Insurance for your little one(s).

Let's talk parent to parent.

Buying insurance for your Child or Grandchild might seem unusual at first, but when you understand the lifetime benefits it offers them, the decision becomes clear.

CBO, Chief Baby Officer

There’s two main types of insurance for children.

1) Whole Life Insurance

A Whole Life Insurance policy can help your Child pay for College or University, purchase their first home, start their first business, and help with many other milestones throughout their life. It can even be used for their retirement – it’s like giving your Child a pension that lasts a lifetime.

There is a savings account that comes with Whole Life Insurance, called the cash value. The cash value is guaranteed to increase in value year-over-year, you do not pay tax on annual growth, and the funds are always accessible whenever you or your child needs them.

Also, Whole Life Insurance comes with life insurance. This is good news because you are guaranteeing your Child has life insurance for the rest of their life, regardless of any future health issues that may arise.

2) Critical Illness Insurance

Critical Illness Insurance will protect your child against 30+ major illnesses, such as Cerebral Palsy, Cystic Fibrosis, Cancer, Muscular Dystrophy, and many more.

You will receive a tax-free cheque based on the amount of your coverage if a claim is made, which can help with bills, taking time off work, and many other expenses that will arise.

This insurance comes with a great option, allowing you to qualify for a 75% reimbursement of premiums paid if no claims have been made by your child’s 25th birthday or the 15th policy anniversary, whichever is later.

Even with this 75% return of premium, your child’s complete coverage will remain in force.

Yes, you can be eligible to receive 75% of your premiums back, and the entire policy remains in force as if nothing happened.

If you want to talk parent to parent about insurance for your kids, I’d be happy too.
